  • Happy New Year! Happy New Year to all my Carmelite Family.
  • Regional Day of Recollection. Reminder: Save the date for our Regional Day of Recollection for 2024. It will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 8:30am-2:00pm at the Carmelite House of Prayer, Napa.
  • Welcome to the Lenten Season. As we journey this 40-day Lenten Season, may the power of the Word of God, deliver us from all temptations and feed us with God’s love and mercy for our eternal salvation.
  • Carmel Prays. Join the Carmelites for Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent as well as for Morning, Evening and Night Prayer at www.CarmelPrays.com. (Scroll down the homepage to find the Stations of the Cross.)
  • Reminder: Save the date. Regional Day of Recollection for 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, 8:30am-2:00pm at the Carmelite House of Prayer, Napa.
  • Annual Dues for 2024. If you haven’t done so, reminder to submit your 2024 dues. Checks may be written to Georgia Aradanas for $55.00.

Ongoing Formation Homework

  • Mary the Perfect Contemplative: Part 1, Daughter of Zion, Chapter 2, “A Town of Judah: The First Christian Community”, pages 50-53.
  • Study/Discussion questions: Study Guide, page 17, questions 31-37. You may also wish to answer the questions for Chapter 2, found in Appendix 1 of the book.

Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina for March 17 community meeting is the gospel reading for the Fifth Sunday of Lent: John 12:20-33.

Prayer Intentions
