Community and Regional News — June 2022
- Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be July 7-15, 2022. We will meet in the Governo House Dining Room and on Zoom for those who are not able to attend in person [Novena prayers]. The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is Saturday, July 16. Please attend the 8:15 a.m. Mass is at Holy Spirit and wear your scapular. Plan for breakfast afterwards.
- Regional Day of Recollection. There will be a Regional Day of Recollection on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 8:30am – 2:00pm. The Day of Recollection will take place at Carmelite House of Prayer, 20 Mount Carmel Drive, Napa, CA 94558. Registration is $25.00, to be paid at the door. Carmencita will be fully professed at this meeting. Please indicate to Marilou if you will be attending so we have a count and plan on carpooling. We need to submit our total count to the Regional Coordinator so they can determine the amount of food to provide.
- No August Community Meeting. There will be no community meeting in August. Please attend the Regional Day of Recollection on Saturday, August 27 instead.
- Regional Visitation. Our Regional Coordinator, Christine Campbell, and Regional Formation Director, Patrick Bowles, will be visiting our community on September 18, 2022 at around 2:00 pm.
- Community Manual. We are still awaiting our printed copies of the revised Carmel’s Call, Twelfth Edition.
