Our Lady of Mercy Lay Carmelites

  • Lenten Gathering. There will be a Lenten Gathering of Lay Carmelites in San Francisco on Saturday, the 22ND from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. The theme for the day is Sharing the Journey. There is no charge for this meeting, however pre-registration is required.
  • At the Lenten gathering five of our members will be advancing in their Carmelite voctaions. Please keep in your prayers: Lou who will be making her final profession, and Sheila, Zenaida, Marilou, and Dianne who will be making their temporary professions. I hope you can all be in San Francisco for this wonderful occasion. Congratulations to you on your upcoming professions!
  • No March Meeting. Because we have two meetings in February, there will NOT be a meeting in March.
  • Annual Dues. Dues will be sent to Aylesford in April 2020. Please bring your payment ($55) to the April meeting (make checks payable to Georgia).

Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina for April 26 community meeting is the gospel reading for Sunday, Luke 24:13-35.

Prayer Intentions

Please pray for all Carmelites, especially:
  • Our members who are ill and/or inactive
  • All Carmelites who are isolates
  • Our deceased members
